Hi Mark and everyone !

I’m a London-based ex-professional rugby player who’s moved into the recruitment industry. I’m specialising in FinTech/Java recruitment at present.

I’m looking for an opportunity to get over to Sydney removed link I’ve previously used my working holiday visa, so would need sponsorship.

I thought it was worth reaching out on here to see if anyone might be able to point me in the right direction for who to speak to / where to start the process?

Best, Ollie Brown

Hi Ollie and welcome mate! 👍

Take a look at the pinned post in our sponsored jobs forum here. You'll find a few good tips in that forum to help you get started. If you have any additional questions then let us know. 😊

All the best

Hi mate, I know normally the likes of Hays, Michael Page and Robert Walters sponsor UK recruiters...

However, COVID-19 has had a considerable influence on Australia’s skilled migration program resulting in a significant reduction in the number of places allocated for the 2020/2021 program year ending 30th June 2021 for applicants seeking nomination from a state or territory government.

Obviously with what is going on, healthcare workers etc are top of list and are being prioritised in terms of applications.

Would still be worth speaking with a migration agent to get the ball rolling to see what visa paths are an option when the timings better - that’s what we are doing that the moment.

All the best,

Dean
