    Hi Mark,

Can I just confirm that as long as you have your EOI in before the 30th June 2017 and your occupation is removed on the 1st July 2017 you can still be awarded the opportunity to apply for a Subclass 189?

    Many thanks

    Hi Claire.

When an occupation is removed from the SOL the update typically comes with commentary on the lines of “this will not affect those who have already received an invitation“.

Keep in mind that the EOI is just that, an Expression of interest (to move to Australia).

If an occupation is removed from the SOL and you have still to revive an invitation to apply under this occupation then it is unlikely that an invitation will be offered in the following migration year.

    Regards

    Mark
