What if we missed to answer one of the question in multiple choice how it is calculated example 18-20 choose three items and I have answer only A option and c option but not third option E so do I lose all three answers ??

In multiple choice if the questions serial start as a) b) c) then what should I put on answer sheet if I write my previous answers in capital letter? What will be the answer 'a' or'A' ?
