I wonder when I should use words such as proportion, percentage, number, amount, level … in the plural form. For example:

1. The percentages/percentage of boys in 6-11 and 12-16 age groups participating in basketball were/was 89% and 78% respectively.

2. The proportion/proportions of Vietnamese people living under the line was/were 20% and 5% in 1980 and 2010 respectively.

3. The number/numbers of grades 9 and 10 are 200 and 300 respectively.

4. The amount/amounts of beef and fish used was/were 10 grams and 20 grams respectively.

Please help me understand the mechanism of this one. Thank you!

words are not enough to say thank you, my dearest teacher :)

For the introduction in writing task 1:

if the y-axis is in the form of (percentage %) and I need to add a second sentence like 'Units are measured in the form of percentages' I believe it's not correct, if not what could I write instead.

Thanks in advance

Thank you, teacher, for your help, I've got a question after we have done Body paragraph, shouldn't be concluded one or two sentences at the end, as I understood, you meant body paragraph; comparison.
