Thank you for your interest in submitting a job to getting down under. This article has been written to help answer any questions you may have while serving as a guide on how to post your next job opportunity on our website.
Submitting your job advert for publication
Your job Advert is submitted using an online form which can be found here. When you have completed the form, you will be given the option to preview your job advert before posting.
By default job, ads remain on our site for one calendar month.
Your Recruiter Account
If you are not already a member of the getting down under community, during the course of posting a job on Getting Down Under, you will be given the opportunity to create a free recruiter account.
s a recruiter, you will be given access to a new Menu option titled ‘Recruiters’. Here you will be able to access your job Dashboard which lists the current jobs you have listed on our website.
Through your job dashboard, you can update the job or mark the job as filled. Marking the job as filled will disable the ‘Apply for Job’ button
Advert checklist
Have you included the job title?
Have you mentioned where the position is located geographically? Please reference both the town and state. E.g. Perth, Western Australia
Have you included your company name, address and web site URL? – not a requirement but we recommend it (all web site URLs on getting down under are live links)
Advert Size
There is no limit to the number of words allowed in an advertisement, but we recommend keeping to less than 300 words.
Logos
Company logos can be included in your advertisements at no extra cost.
Featured Job Listings
Featured Listings appear at the top of our job listing page and are highlighted in yellow to draw attention to the listing. Our featured job listings traditionally receive three times the click-through rates of regular job listings.
Advertising Rates
Our current advertising rates can be found here. We offer discounted value packs should you have a requirement to post multiple jobs.
Payment
Payment can be made by credit card. We currently utilise Paypal as our credit card processing partner. No credit card details are captured or stored by Getting Down Under.
