Some good news for people who are looking to travel to Australia to be with their long-term partner’s under the prospective marriage Visa Class.
Last week, the Australian government announced that anyone who held a prospective marriage visa from the 6th of January 2020 to the 10th of December 2020 and was outside Australia on the 10th of December, will have their Visa entry date extended until the end of March 2022.
This means that anyone who’s been granted their visa between the 6th of January this year and the 10th of December this year and he has been unable to travel to Australia will be able to take advantage of this concession and travel to Australia anytime until 31st of March 2022.
It’s fair to say that given the difficulty in trying to travel to Australia this year, this concession will be COVID-19 related, however, the extension through to March 2022 should be well received by those looking to travel to Australia on the prospective marriage visa class.
